His grand-daughter Mumtaz married Shah Jehan and her tomb is, of course, the Taj Mahal.

Transfer to Agra train station in time to board train for Lucknow. Met on arrival at Lucknow train station and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Lucknow.

Full day sightseeing tour of Lucknow visiting Bara Imambara -Labyrinth -this magnificent monument recalls the glorious past of the nawabs and stands out for its in austerity in style, Chota Imambara -this structure houses the tomb of Mohammed Ali Shah. Roomi Gate - this colossal ornate gateway is said to be a facsimile of one of the gates of Constantinople. It was built by Nawab As-Ud-Daula in 1784 to create employment during the terrible famine of 1784.

Transfer to Lucknow station in time to board train for Varanasi. Met on arrival at Varanasi train station and transfer to the hotel. Evening Aarti ceremony on river Ganges. Overnight in Varanasi
